Nothing major but I was wondering what is the deal with the reputation system and how exactly does it work? More a question of curiosity actually.

Simply put, it's a way of giving feedback based on people's posts or... the people in general. It's un-needed fluff, really. But it certainly makes my job easier when I need to thin the herd a bit

Another thing I'm curious about is that some people have titles under their name (such as Maverick's 'FS Ancient' ) and I didn't see anything in the profile settings that has this option (if it is one) so I was wondering is it something you put in, or is it something we get to do after a certain number of posts etc?

FS ancient is a group title, so I'd have to set that for you. Normally they're triggered by post counts in most forums. We just got lazy and made everyone members.

You can, however, set a custom title which appears underneath your avatar.

The FS Ancient tag goes to ex staff members and really golden oldie's on the board that are still around

Daniel, like I said in another thread, I consider myself, Luke, Goody2shoes, Maverick and you the only 5 remaining FS Ancients here. My definition of Ancient is someone who was here at least since 2002-early 2003 (before the summer) and was at least mildly active and popular back then.

I tend to consider the "turning point" of this place the summer of 2003 as some embarassing and low events caused the vast majority of the Ancients to abandon this place.

FS seems to be picking up in activity the last few days, even though it's not new members yet, just us making more posts. It's good however... for a start. I hope it's not a one-time-wonder kind of thing and it continues growing.

FS has a very long way to go yet.

Sorry Oroden, I can't recall your old nickname and I pick FS Ancients from what I can remember, and I can very easily remember Dan from having talked to him on msn.

We've worked a lot on the SEO of the forum with the links, so finding us in search engines is a lot easier.

Guess I'll have to settle for FS Veteran then. I know I was around approximately early-mid 2003. I do seem to remember quite a few turning points around then.
