I read a review about a week ago and seen some pretty good stuff to do with the summon system. Apparently it will act similar to FFX where one person will be fighting alongside their summon and it will have two forms or modes of fighting. One form will be its elemental stage where it cannot be controlled, but upon changing to its other mode it will become some form of machine, (a gestalt form) and various commands become available.

For example, Snow's summon, Shiva, becomes a motorbike, and Odin, Lightning's summon, becomes a mechanical horse. The actions you can take with the summon uses a certain amount of time blocks, with the special attack, like Shiva's diamond Dust, using all available time slots for one massive strike.

And another thing I found out is that the game takes a minimum of 60 hours to complete if just following the story. Hope you got plenty of weekends off.

Good. Long games are best. And I'm racing my brother to finish it.

If you ignore the fact they've done nothing but whore out every other damn game EXCEPT for this once, sure. Squeenix have taste.

Also, knock it off. You'll stir the fanboys. One of which has a banstick.

*ahem*

Right kids, so... Million dollar question: Is it worth getting?

Lol. Good answer!

Should I be worried about the conversion to Xbox? I don't exactly have a ton of money, so a PS3 is not an option (can't even trade my Xbox in. argh!)

Oops, I'm sorry. I thought there were no discussions going on about the game, so I created a topic. I guess I should've looked here first.

Well, I guess I'll add my two cents;

Overall, the game is AMAZING. I can't wait to play it through a second time. I hear you can get alternate outfits and updated abilities. Oh, and there ARE a lot of side bosses. Of course, it's not until later in the game when you get more freedom.

Guys, I literaly broke down into tears when I put this game into my 360. It was so beautiful, and the first battle was fantastic. I love how you go seamlessly from cutscene to battle.

Congratulations Square-Enix! You've done it again!
